Sunshine Foundation is a unique children’s charity, as it is the only national wish-granting organization that answers the dreams or wishes of children with life-long chronic illnesses or conditions, including level 3 severe autism, Down syndrome, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegia, muscular dystrophy, brain and spinal injuries, Type 1 diabetes, post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma from abuse, and numerous other life-long conditions. Helping children ages three through eighteen whose families have limited income. A stay at Sunshine Foundation’s Dream Village near Disney World provides these brave children with respite from their challenges, allowing them to simply be children.
